YEAH! I finally have some time to blog and hopefully also email some of my Zaadz friends.
Well, the green smoothie detox was an incredible success. I got through all seven days and didn't feel like I missed "normal" food at all. My body was very nourished and satisfied with the green smoothies and fruit. I power walked about 3 miles every day with my walking sticks so I could give myself a full workout and I didn't feel hungry or dizzy at all.
My energy level was high, I lost a few pounds, my skin became so smooth and I felt like I was thinking clearer. I am going to enjoy a quarterly green smoothie detox from now on - -that's how much I enjoyed it and found it beneficial. What a wonderful way to honor this body that keeps me walking on the planet day after day! It's my gift to my cells. I have also started every morning since the cleanse with a green smoothie and have made that a delicious habit in my life.
Now, if you are considering this detox/cleanse I highly suggest that you do your own research beforehand. And I also warn you that detoxing your body may make you want to detox your life. It's a wonderful phenomenon actually. In coaching there is a term that we use called tolerations. Tolerations are the things that we allow to stay in our lives and bug us, annoy us, irritate us, etc. You get the picture. I found that once I detoxed my body I wanted to detox my whole life and sweep out those last few tolerations. : )
Here is a link (you need Adobe to view it) of the Clean Sweep program and a list of places in your life where you might have tolerations. See how many of them are in your life:

So, I am happy to say that I am continuing my detox on lots of different levels and it feels incredible.
Peace to all of you!

Katrina . . .
It's terrific that you're feeling all those benefits! And, very interesting that the detox now extends to the rest of your life . . .
I get what you're saying about tolerations. Makes perfect sense. The Clean Sweep page is interesting! Lots there to make us really think . . . Most of us just don't think about those things too much. The tolerations, like everything else, become a part of our routine. Then, it's as if they don't even register with us consciously.
“It's my gift to my cells.” Great line! And I'm sure all 70 trillion of them are extremely grateful!!
Thanks for this blog Katrina!
May the Divine Spirit bless you!!

Thanks Katrina!
The clean sweep page is a great tool to have. I am printing it out.
I'm so glad the clean sweep is helpful. We use it in coaching quite a bit - more for ourselves than for the clients : )
