I don't "love" a lot of the pop songs that are out these days. Many of them seem to lack a message, or a feeling.
Here is an exception. I have included the lyrics. ENJOY!

Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten
I am unwritten,
Can't read my mind
I'm undefined
I'm just beginning
The pen's in my hand
Ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten, yeah
Oh, oh
I break tradition
Sometimes my tries
Are outside the lines, oh yeah yeah
We've been conditioned
To not make mistakes
But I can't live that way oh, oh
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
the rest still unwrittrn
(Gospel)
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin

Help

Oh yes, I love this song, the lyrics and the music. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you my Lovely friend for sharing this great song and video, it will add a new chapter to my book of life along with the thought of you listening and dancing to it, it made me smile big time . but so do you. Namast'e Ricky D.
I loved this song from the moment I first heard it. The words are so amazing, so healing and so empowering.
Isn't it fun when music can be one of our best 'teachers' and 'mentors'? The songs we need to hear pop up at the perfect time. Then it seems we hear them over and over again until the message has completely sunk in. Once it has really sunk in, and we own or embrace the message, a new song pops up with a new message.
My advice is to pay close attention to the songs that call to us. See how their message may be a calling from our soul. It may represent an aspect of our Self needing attention or healing.
I LOVE IT!!!!
Thank you Mila, Ricky and Jody. Thanks for showing me how to write on that unwritten page. I listened to this song so many times before and never REALLY heard it. Hmmmmm… have I missed other wonderful messages because I wasn't paying attention? Thankfully the good messages are repeated again and I get another chance to be present and take it in. Much love and many blessings to you. May we all write wonderful things on our unwritten pages today!
