Do you have a great networking story for my next book?

I'm looking for stories about networking and connecting for my next book called "The Wholarian Vision." Do you have a story to share?

More and more people are reaching out to new friends and old friends to connect and reconnect. There seems to be a real desire to find people with whom we have common interests. The social networking sites have become uber-popular and people genuinely feel good about making new "friends." It seems to resonate at a deep level to feel like we are part of the whole... hence the word wholarian.

Do you have a cool/fun/interesting story to tell about networking? I would love to read it. I am accepting stories by email from July 1, 2009 - July 31, 2009.

Due to volume I may not be able to respond to your email immediately, but I will definitely respond. I will be selecting stories during the month of August and will let you know then if your story is selected.
